Position: LOAN COORDINATOR
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Coordinate and Process Federal and Private student loans for undergraduate and graduate students.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage end-to-end student loan processing—from daily report imports, loan document management, loan certification, and scheduled disbursements.
- Proactively notify students and parents of outstanding loan documents
- Ensure strict compliance with Title IV and institutional policies; maintain accurate records and audit-ready documentation
- Provide Entrance/Exit Counseling to support borrower understanding of rights, responsibilities, and repayment options
- Serve as Floor Leader to coordinate workflow, support coverage, and elevate customer service standards
- Coach and cross-train team members; contribute to process improvements, and a positive team culture
- Stay current through Federal Student Aid training, NASFAA training, and state trainings; implement regulatory and best-practice updates
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
- Must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment and be multi-task.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be able to de‑escalate challenging interactions with students and parents while maintaining professionalism
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
